Hi to all for some add reason all my chrome reflection ( truck pips trailers coils) r black can anyone plz help and tell me how to fix this there was a file on chrome reflection mod for pttm but now it's not there any more thank u will be waiting .... Also there is 2 nice truck combo on this site but dont know why they dont instal there names r READY-MIX AND MCLAREN I PUT EACH FOLDER IN THE RIGHT PLACE BUT STILL THE DONT SHOW OR ANY THING I THINK THEY R MISSING SOME FILES I found these 2 trucks at www.freewebs.com/g841eoa/combos.htm THANK U |

The problem with your chrome being black is down to the graphic settings, just go to options & turn everything up to max. If still black then you need to look at your system specs, are they good enough.
As for the combos you mention, no there are no missing files i know they work as i made them. Have you followed the instructions? you need to unzip them 1st. More importantly have you downloaded & installed the vehicles for these "skins"?

Can u plz tell me more about the trucks coz all i found was a share file and a def (DES) text thats it and where do i find the vehicle skins thank u for the reply as far as my reflection i reinstalled the game there was something wrong with the share file thank u

Seems to me that you have not even done the basic of extracting the base yet.
Just a little tip for you as you are new to this. "You will get a much better response to your question(s) if you try to help yourself 1st by reading the available material & then when really stuck try posting in the right section" This is not specific to this forum by the way, other truck related forums would probably have given you a warning or a ban by now.
This forum has a section for PTTM including a help section (where this post should have gone)
Just below the PTTM area there is a tutorial section.
Try extracting your base.scs using the available guide, follow the instructions to the letter, then you should realise why you cannot get things to work. If not then search for a possible reason, then & only then if still stuck ask.
Apologies if this seems a bit harsh but the tutorials section is there because we got fed up of answering the same questions week in week out!
