Hi,
I'm new here, and I would like to know how I go about installing trucks, skins etc. for PTTM.
Soem links to the best site would be useful to. I'm particularly interested tn UK trucks.

Me again I was looking round the forum (it's great!), and I found several references and links to www.stobartmodelsuk.co.uk However the site appears to be offline- am I correct in thinking this and if so, where can I downlad the skins/models from? Thanks, |

Well it not exactly a truck, but I am struggling to find Wheels_pack_pttm.zip
It would appear to be needed by several trailers, but is not available

I too am a) a newbie and b) having trouble installing skins.
My problem is I keep downloading and installing skins but they have yet to appear on screen - all the trucks are still plain colours.
Will skins (on a UKTS page) work if they are for PTTM or 18WOS beacuse all the kinks i come across appear to be for these sims and not UKTS?

Some skins from other games will work in UKTS if the truck models that they fit are in your game.
What you will need to do though is convert the file package. Skins in from other SCS games are in different file systems.
i.e. PTTM has a trucks/makes & then an individual truck folder with a seperate share & paint desc folder.
UKTS the paint files are normally called "color" & are in a file system of vehicle/truck/name of truck.
All the files except for PTTM are also in zip/store format.
