The painting of the .dds is as in PTTM, the only differences are when adding new paint files rather overwriting existing ones + adding a TGA paint option & not being able to have sign writing unless you do not mind it being reversed on 1 side. Adding new paint files requires adding new automat files(see Doublee's post), editing the lod & model files in Zmod & increasing the number off paint attachments. Then it gets difficult especially if you want to add cargo's, as you then need to edit a lot of sii files as well.

To get the image to show correctly on both sides would require 2 skins or .dds files, Haulin is (at the moment) only excepting one skin. The trucks either need to be remapped so there are 2 sides in one paint file or I/we/someone needs to find the secret to unlocking the double sided recipe.

Once you get the hang of it you can make a good skin in 30mins with it in game

But when you do it properly i.e making you own logo's rather than just cut & paste from a picture it is more like 3 hours.
