I am very close to getting a new cargo up and running. I strongly belive that our editing speedbump is the mammoth "automat" folder. With 240 folders and 1,919 files. My "project" is a complete index of every file in there. So hopefully I can use it to crack the code so to speak. I will let you know what I come up with.

Thanks Doublee, This will come in very handy as i have tried going through the files myself & just end up chasing my own shadow. Maybe we can make a cross reference with the PMD text files in each model.

Well, I just found 2 mat files that are almost identical. The difference is the specular. Which could mean a difference between night and day. So there might be more than 1 mat file for each tobj. I have only scratched the surface on this. I have about 1,800 more files to go

Not sure if you aware of this, but you also need to edit the PMG files in Zmod to accept the new skin. Just edited all my files before i came across this problem & would you believe it Zmod will open all the files apart from the one i need to edit.

Well, let me know if you figure out how to open it. And if there are any mat files you are trying to find let me know and I'll see if I located it yet. Still along way to go. I'm working 10 hour days now so It's going to take a while. I'll get alot of it done this weekend.

Managed to open the required file, but had to extract the base.scs again 1st. Still not able to get it to work though for some reason, yet i have edited the same files for some of the skins already in the game but not used & they work fine.
