I have just heard its a deal and they have been bought for EU10bn (£6.7bn). But i carnt be sure of that.
A first offer was rejected

this doesnt mean the end of scania tommy, just that the two will merge, and produce their own trucks, just that MAN own them, and they will properly share parts like suspension, interior parts like they already do, but it will be the same as the renault/volvo buyout

in yesterdays paper it said that scania had rejected the £6.5 billion bid by man

I acutally dont like to see comapnys being bought out.
Especially now that there are no comapnys building trucks in the Uk now.
Foden & Leyland - were bought out by DAF wernt they ? ERF - MAN
