It may be a standalone.
You need to get the truckstorage.sii by extractin base and go in the vehcile folder

Hi all, Absolute newbie here. I have looked at quite a few games forums and this
is the first one I have found where the administrators have the good manners to reply
to beginners and advanced users alike. My question is how can I get Haulin` to
steer properly? I have tried nearly all the advice given here and other forums re:
tune up system etc. I have 1G of ram and Geforce 6200 Turbo Cache. Also( I
hope this hasn`t been asked too many times before) Is there or will there ever be
a truck sim based on British roads etc.

what exactly is happening? Is it when you get to around 70-80mph it goes horrible or straight away. I too have the same problem at 70-80mph just have to keep control or slow down a bit. If its at the start re-calibrate the steering wheel Control Panel Game Controllers Callibrate hope this helps kljay and also Welcome to the forum ;d

Hi Paladr, Welcome to the forum. Unfortunatley the steering is not very good to start with, there is no perfect setup that works with every wheel, its all trial & error using the available in game adjustments.

Thank you both. The steering on WoS AA is pretty stable so it will remain my favourite but I liked the scenery on PTTM so I thought I would give it a try, also PTTM seems the most popular on this site is there a reason for that perhaps? Is there an answer to my question re: British Truck Sims?

The Reason PTTM is most popular is quite simple.
Its easy to mod ;d

Yes kljay thanks, A fresh game based on UK. roads would be a nice change. I am sure we have clever enough game writers this side of the pond.
I have just set up PTTM very nicely, which is currently my favourite Sim! I just need to learn how to mod now! Thanks all.
