Hi All, thought I'd be brave and be the first to start this thread. My wife bought me this excellent kit for my birthday (yesterday) Anyone else got any good models? I'll post some photos when it's built, thinking of having a tanker trailer to go with it. Regards Dave

Progress: Got the engine mounted and most of the chassis completed. Nice that all the chrome work is done for you: Regards Dave

;D Looking good so far, was the chassis & engine already painted or is that your handy work? Have not assembled a model in years, moved onto rebuilding motorbikes as a hobby but gave that up after a few years, not enough time plus no glue smell either.

Hi Radar, yes it's my paint work. Thanks for the comments. I love the smell of glue I started as a kid building aircraft, which are still my favourite, I've built tanks and stuff before but this is my first large scale truck. Never built bikes either, might have to give that a go some time too. More pics to come. Regards Dave

Getting there slowly (best way 4 the perfect finish) built a few model bikes & planes, but i meant rebuilding the real thing, mainly old 60s Jap stuff but have tweaked a few BMW bikes as well. Keep up the good work.

Thanks, I enjoyed building it, took ten days altogether, was pretty easy tho, mostly big pieces, I'm more used to fiddly 1:72 scale aircraft, tanks, etc. Yeah, already got the trailer put away in the model shop, just got to wait till we have a spare £30 lol.

looks great, but it sure takes up a lot of room. Any plans for more models or are you going to build an extension to keep them in 1st?

My wife won't allow me to have any more, says there isn't enough room, to which I say there would be if you got all those ***** rabbits out of the shed, lol.
