ok, the same happened the first time i tried to skin for PttM but i got over it. After a week of trying differnet tchniques from here and various other trucksim site i still can't figure it out. I spent about 1 and a half hours on a skin (just overwrited the .dds file on a 105) but when i went in game to see if it worked, it didnt. here she be ;( I have tried lots of things but to no prevail. please help me. Its hard to say without knowing the actual truck (link) or which dds file (full filename) you edited .
it is possible at a guess to say you have edited bodybasic.dds which is not the right one to touch.
if you elaborate further i am sure we can get to the bottom of it....

Cant remember where i got it at but if u PM me ur email ill send u it. the full .dds is bodypaint02.dds i havent touched the bodybasic.dds file. I cant think of anything else to say so if u need more info just say thanks TDM

Pink means that the paint file has not been found or recognised (same as PTTM) make sure that the name is exactly as written in the mat & tobj files. As ceedee mentioned make sure it is not the bodybasic.dds as this will give the skin a reddish tinge to the paint.

Finally it is workin. Thanks goes to Ceedee for getin it done. in reply to radar, it was sumtin to do with DXTBmp *uckin it up and the storage file the author made was wrong. Thanks all.(Ceedee and Radar) lol TDM
